I made a shepherd's pie earlier this week that lasted two days and was great. In fact, I'm beginning to move away from the Tescos ready meals more these days and prefer making my own stuff a lot of the time. I guess as work starts to pile up I will have to use move of the throw-in-oven stuff but quite enjoy the older-fashioned cooking.
Bought some mince today and shall make a chilli that will also last a couple of days. Or maybe tonight I'll have a baked potato.
Did the invoice for the American company and suggested £525. Now that would come in very useful and hope they can manage to sort something out. Even $525 would be nice!
Rain today and even greyer than yesterday. B, K and M have gone off to Butlins for a week. Couple that with Skegness as the destination and I seriously feel sorry for them but they will probably have quite a good time on the many event things they can do there. This will almost certainly be the last holiday that B and K have with N, though, and I would so much like to be able to do something less crappy with them. It needn't cost a fortune either. A few days at nice spots around the country, maybe. If home -when I get somewhere - is good then even being there are having fun would be OK and we can save up for a decent trip to France, Cyprus or wherever we can get to and stay cheaply but interestingly later.
