How life can change in an instant. N asked for some money as apparently her car needed work and wasn't going. She'd expected me to pay £300 but I'd had the fees for bus fares of £330 (and need to budget for the same amount in September or October too) so I wasn't inclined to do anything other than pay the £50 I had received from the B concert ticket sale.
I went in an offered my sympathies for the car problem but said I couldn't pay any more. That didn't go down well but I left as nothing much I could do and I was due at AT's for a presentation meeting at Middlesex Uni at lunchtime or thereabouts.
Really hot day too - hit 29½ºC. Luckily quite nice in the car which I was for quite a lot of the time. On the way to AT's a load of messages came in from N which I didn't read until I got there. Terrible stuff. I couldn't do much about any of them, though, so pressed on with the job I had to do. Worrying, though, to have that in the background. Offensive stuff, mostly. Once I'd got clear of the University stuff I got home and started to take stock of what was going on. It was obvious that N had gone OTT this time. She'd threatened all sorts of things and, in particular, was threatening to 'teach Kirri a lesson' when she returned that evening as B had said something about him and M fighting. I decided to go and get him just in case. So without getting changed or anything went back to MK.
There B was in quite a state too but reckoned taking K would be best. K was happy to come and so we packed a few things for a day or two. That evening, though, there were even more threatening messages and B said she would dump them all at my place if I didn't take them away. She was saying that she hated them and wasn't going to stay there, had arranged for the dogs to go to the RSPCA and that was it. Nightmare!! It looked like B and even M might not be safe so I had no option but to go and collect them the next day.
I was in a right state and hardly slept Wednesday night at all. I e-mailed my solicitor and Rupert as I needed advice - and also might well need some money as I'd have to think about an urgent move. Oh dear. Everything changes.
