Monopoly

Comparatively quiet day with K and M. I found some 1960s sheet music and the computer chess set that JM gave me and took photos of them. Showed K the chess set and had some fun with that as I had a battery for it, luckily! The sheet music may be worth a bit - things like the less successful Monkees tracks, Valleri or Alternate Title maybe.

Need to do budget and start advertising things like T1GRX but just no time or any peace. Really frustrating.

Judy had called as we were taking back B yesterday and was nice to hear her. Obviously concerned and said nice things about my way with kids which was good for K and M to hear as she was on the car phone thing.

In the evening K discovered my old Monopoly set from the 1970s and it was amazing: the two boys spent over 3 hours playing quietly and actually getting on with each other really well! Unbelievable as I recall someone would get upset in that game soon enough in the old days and I had been awaiting the 'unfair' call or similar. That was really pleasing. I even got chance to start getting my head back together. Not a lot but a start.
