Aoi, the Japanese student trying to do one of the Middlesex modules, rang and I suggested that I could arrange a nice tour of some less famous but attractive English places one day for her and her husband. He's a diplomat and being sent to Afghanistan next year so could be interesting to get to know. It may also earn me some income but I'd need some help planning it all. Anyway, just something that cropped up this morning.
Reminds me ideas I had way back in 91 for tours for the Greek people coming over in the Dimitri Corinis days. Wonder what happened to him? In one of my boxes I found some correspondence from the Temple Fortune days. Fascinating.
Gareth, the contact in a US School of English who are using my ICT Skills survey, replied to suggest that I send him an invoice for the work I've been doing. I felt a bit guilty asking but glad I did. Not sure what to charge but I must get that organised soon. Nice of him to offer when I'd mentioned some recent developments.
Kirri and Matti came over and we played boules as it was a nice day after a wet Saturday. They're both still playing Toontown too which is remarkable! Kirri needed a new blazer so I got him one from John Lewis. Need to organise the badge transfer, though, so hope Penny can help before they go back to school.
Found some cool photos of my very first few cars! And my 1968 diary!! Oh boy! Literally.
