Rain

Kirri's 13th Birthday Party at an Extreme Activity Centre in Willen Lake, MK. Chucked it down with rain and got soaked through but survived and very impressed with his and Bryony's efforts to get round circuit on high ropes and all sorts of pretty difficult challenges. Usual last minute requests from N and annoying control of things but not as bad as house parties or past events where all and sundry were invited which Kirri didn't really want. This was a good event. Rubbish food afterwards and usual cake but this may be the last she organises. Wish I could afford to do something else for him. Next year, maybe.

M and K came back for dinner. Windscreen wiper stopped working but pleased that I managed to fix it. A nut had come loose so one wiper didn't move. Tightened it up and just hope it doesn't work loose again.

Actually started this diary today.

Almost run out of money. Need to be very careful to get through. About £150 left in the bank and small amount of cash. Really hope Middlesex money - should be £500 + - comes this month. Desperate times but that'll help.
