Cold Higham fête was inside the village hall with just one gazebo outside. Just as well as the wind blew that away half-way through proceedings! Kirri won the putting competition and I should have won the Dingbats but, as in previous years, we never seem to get any prizes! I am sure that the organisers have decided that people from Astcote can't win. Kirri won two tennis balls on a cool card game and Matti won a soft mini rugby ball that probably has a better name than that but is a good prize as long as it doesn't disappear over a fence like so many other balls have done recently.
Matti and Kirri were also kept well entertained decorating mugs with Sarah B while I had a cream tea and tried to figure out a couple of the more tricky Dingbats.
